greetings everyone!
today is the last day of school before the june holidays! yayy!
after school today darrell, joo gian, xiao wei, ling xi, bei qing, xin xuan, jia xuan and i went back to tao nan to visit our teachers. little did we know that the taonanites had no school today.
it was tao nan's parent-teacher meeting today. diao'''
so, a wasted trip? nah.
darrell, xin xuan, bei qing and i went to parkway to eat lunch. i ate an enormous plate of hokkien mee which cost $3.80. burp.
then, we walked around and happened to chance upon a pushcart with some candy buffet. darrell and i ended up paying $2 to stuff a small box full of candy. i won x).
around 4.40pm, we decided to go home. i boarded 31 and tried unsuccessfully to not fall asleep. fortunately, it was not a hundred year nap (laffsoutloud). when i woke up i realised that... i had missed my stop. oh yay.
i was in toa payoh. i called my darling ever reliable sister for help. she was at my daddy's office xD. my daddy told me to drop at toa payoh stadium, cross the raod, somehow find the mrt station and take an mrt down to his office.
okay, so far so good. i managed to jump off the bus at toa payoh stadium (he only told me to alight there when the bus was about to go). i crossed the overhead bridge and promptly got lost.
here is where i am grateful for good samaritans. i asked a lady where the mrt station was. even though she was waiting for a taxi and not taking the mrt, she still brought me all the way to the mrt station.
auntie, if you are somehow reading this, the girl wearing the dark blue uniform, carrying a white bag and a plastic bag would like to say... XIE XIE!
sigh... i am very tired. going for the briefing for my malaysia trip to damai laut tonight. i will be spending three days and two nights in damai laut and one more day and night in malacca.
here's a piece of advice for you shoppers: in malacca, there is a street called jonkor street, or at least i think that is how it is spelt. you can go shopping there but only on friday night, saturday night and sunday night.
i look forward to the trip! whoohoo!
